The BlueNet [Metadata Entry & Search Tool] version 1.1 BETA5 is a modified version of GeoNetwork opensource (version 2.2.0 final). The modifications support the following profiles of the AS/NZS-19115 geographic metadata standard:

• the ANZLIC profile (version 1.1)
• the Australian Marine Community Profile (MCP) (version 1.3-19139)
• the Australian Defence Organisation (ADO) Profile (version 1.0.3).
• the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO) Core Profile (version 1.0).

which are implemented using the ISO19139 standard. In addition, this version of the MEST supports:

• sensorML - a gml application schema for sensor descriptions.

The modifications were done by the BlueNet project. The BlueNet MEST is also the ANZLIC Metadata Entry Tool (MET).

Remote Search Help

The BlueNet MEST can search all nodes of the Australian Spatial Data Directory (ASDD). To search one or more nodes, enter your search criteria and then select the nodes you want to search. Hold down the Ctrl key when clicking to select multiple nodes.

Results are obtained in either iso19139 XML format or ANZLIC version 2 XML format and displayed using GeoNetwork formatting. Most agencies participating in the ASDD format their own metadata in html. To display results in the html format used by the originating agency, you should check the 'Display remote html?' box.
